Michael Edwards, MD, FACS

Few plastic surgeons can match the reputation Dr. Michael Edwards has earned for his combination of surgical skill and sense of aesthetic harmony, especially in the field of primary and revision breast surgery. Named one of the Top Plastic Surgeons in America and in Las Vegas, Dr. Edwards’ national status is underscored by his election as president of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) in 2014, and being appointed by the Governor to the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners. Board certified in plastic surgery, Dr. Edwards is known for providing patients with exceptional care from the initial consultation, in the operating room, and through post-operative follow-up.

Dr. Edwards isn’t the type to sit on the sidelines. Having served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 20 years, he understands that a single person can make a difference for a patient, for an organization, or for his or her country. Since entering private practice in 2003, he has remained active in both local and national plastic surgery associations, championing research and education with the goal of continually improving results for patients who undergo cosmetic or reconstructive plastic surgery. Dr. Edwards was responsible for patient safety legislation in Nevada called the Truth in Advertising Bill. Dr. Edwards was recently appointed by Gov. Sandoval to serve as a board member for the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners. This highlights Dr. Edwards’ strong belief in patient safety.
